My story

I grew up watching my dad run his plumbing business out of our family home. I learned early that real work happens at kitchen tables.

I have taught special education in the Bronx. I have managed SoulCycle studios. I worked in government contracting. I have stood on stages as a keynote speaker, and I was an associate producer on the documentary No Country for Mothers.

Every one of those jobs used skills I first learned somewhere nobody would put on a resume.

For years I have asked women one question: “What do you do?” Most of the time the first answer is small. Then I keep listening, and the real answer comes out: a team, a budget, a crisis handled before 9 AM. Watching her hear herself say it is my favorite thing in the world.

So I built a way for every woman to hear it.

The call you make when you need a little push and encouragement.

You know the friend you call when something big is happening. She listens. Really listens. She asks the question you have not asked yourself. Then she says back what she heard, and somehow it sounds bigger and more real than when you said it.
